I have just bought my first ipad. I am an educator in a secondary school and I have the new task of incorporating ICTs into curriculum
learning areas. Ive done a new media course and am amazed at what the ipad and itouch can do but as a newcomer i find the time to
learn how to do things hard! Hence why Ive joined this forum. So one of my tasks is to 'produce quality digital resources' for teaching
subject area content (so for teachers to use ) and also from students where using ICTS to produce work means more than typing up
an assignment using a laptop. Ive learned how to create ebooks and that apps have education content (cant locate high school level
ones for say maths, english, science yet) and ive been shown how to create great movies with ipad.

QUESTION: However i cant work out how to get the movie into an editing system or what software to use or how to compress the movie so that i can attach it to a wiki or an email.

Can anyone offer any advice as I have to produce final products in coming weeks.I have the footage just not the know how! Thanks alot.

Welcome to the forum! There are a lot of great people here willing to lend a hand anytime. Often using the search feature (in the toolbar at the top of every page) will lead you to the answers you're looking for. If not, feel free to post a question in the appropriate area.

Please take a moment to view the information linked below my signature to get the most out of your iPad as well as our forum.

BTW, I moved your post to the iPad Help area where you're likely to get a better response to your question.

Welcome again and enjoy!
