Help! Please!

i installed dimmer from cydia and turned the brightness too low and now i cant see the screen. my ipad is locked and the safety feature for dimmer doesnt work. HELP! open ssh wont work and i have already used the trial for diskaid and i dont want to buy it. and i dont want to restore and rejailbreak. i have tried the iphone configuration utility but it needs the ipad unlocked.

so pressing the volume up really fast 4 times doesn't work??

I just gave up and did a restore. But now I set activator so I can respring in safe mode just incase it happens again.
