HELP PLEASE Keynote problems

I am trying to send a PDF or PPT file from Powerpoint, via email attachment, to Keynote. The instructions say just click on the icon and 'open with Keynote', but the Keynote option is not in the box. I have downloaded Keynote correctly but it doesn't seem to be recognised in the 'send t' box

Can anyone help with this

This will only work if you use .ppt or .pptx format. Keynote cannot read a PDF format presentation.

will try that - somewhere I read that PDF would also work but clearlky that was wrong

No - just .ppt and .pptx. It can, however, export in .pdf format, so maybe that's where the confusion came from...
