Help ! password unknown for backup of ipad on windows pc

Hi, I have been struggling some hours with this issue. The backup of the ipad I did some time ago is locked, and I do not know the password. Not that I need it now, but I will not be able to use it if I need it, so ... Unuseful backup. I deleted the locked file and made again the backup, it turns out even this new backup is locked. So I removed itunes and reinstalled it. Nothing to do, same result. I made the same operations on a second computer, installing itunes. Again , same story. It is completely absurd. Apple does not give me the possibility to delete a backup and decide whether to lock or not the new one I do !! Any idea ?

You should be given the option of whether or not you want to encrypt your backup. When you attempt to backup the device, you should see a tickbox next to "Encrypt iPhone/iPad Backup". If an encrypted backup's password is forgotten, you cannot use the data. There's no way to bypass the encryption.

I am not given this option. i even took my pc at the ipad store, they cannot find the option. I am stuck.

Can you take a screen capture of iTunes with the device connected and the said profile page. Feel free to void your serial if its present on the screen at your leisure
