I just recieved the new Ipad 2. I joined so I can learn how to use it. I'm wondering if you can create folders so you can sort your aps into groups.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

It's no problem to create folders. Press and hold any app on your desktop. After a while they start to 'jiggle'. Now drag one icon on top of another and they'll form a folder with those two apps in. Continue to drag further apps to that folder if you want. Once you've finished you can hit the Home button to stop the jiggling. Also, before you do that, if you touch the folder, the iPad will give you the opportunity to name the folder to whatever you want.
