New to Ipad 3

Need help in transfering Internet Explorer favorites from my desktop to Ipad 3.

Advice will be appreciated,

Thanks, David :)

You can sync (transfer, in normal language) from your device to iPad by downloading a cloud-based facility such as DropBox or SkyDrive to each of your devices. I use SkyDrive myself as it gives more than three times the free storage capacity and works just the same. That is, I downloaded the iPad SkyDrive app and ( in my case) then downloaded the Microsoft SkyDrive app to my Windows7 PC. It's then a simple matter of dropping stuff into your SkyDrive file which will magically sync to your iPad SkyDrive app
Regards, Andrew

Aye uup David :)

Hope you could hear the Yorkshire accent then...:D

AFAIK there is no way to do what you are asking... But there are work arounds.

Export your bookmarks (favourites) from IE as a HTML file and either email or Dropbox it to yourself. When you click on the links, they will open in Safari.

Install Safari on your PC (is that possible?) and import your IE bookmarks from IE if you can - I believe they should then be available for you to sync with Safari on your iPad.

Install Chrome on your PC, import your bookmarks from IE. then install Chrome on your iPad & you can sync your bookmarks to Chrome on your iPad.

Hope one of those is suitable. :)
