My wife purchased me and Ipad Air 16gb for Christmas , I can return it for a 32 if I need to and pay the difference, this is my first Ipad. I don't know if I need the bigger memory or not. I will be taking a online course on personal training in January. any suggestions on what I should do

Hi Roger.... - welcome to the forum! I own a 32 GB iPad 2 (since spring of '11) - will be buying an iPad Air early next year and plan to purchased a 64 GB - my current device is 'half filled' and has no substantial amounts of music or videos - if you want to put the latter on your iPad, I would strongly suggest that you to to 32 GB, and if music & videos will be important to you on the device, then double that storage. I'm sure that you will get many other opinions but most will be to increase storage. Dave

Hi Roger and welcome to the Forum!

Like Giradman has said, it is best to get a larger capacity iPad if you can afford it. It's amazing what the iPad can do for you and you may utilise it even more than what you are thinking now. I've just gotten the 128gb Air for Xmas and came from a 64gb iPad 2 which I did manage to fill it. Movies do take up the most room, so if you are interested in these, go for the 32gb.
