Hi, my name is Karin and I have recently joined. I currently use a first gen iPad in our lab and I am thinking of purchasing the 2nd gen for myself. So, I thought I would try to find out some info first from current users, you know pros and cons, etc. Anyway, I am excited to be here and I can not wait to meet everyone. Also, I should mention this is the very first forum I have participated in so please be patient with me.

Hmmm... no one here to welcome you? I'm surprised. There are usually three or four people around to welcome you with open arms. Yoiu should know that I've been a member of hundreds of forums over the years and this one can't be beat (even with a stick!)
