Hello & can anyone help re updating emails?

Hi guys,
I've had my mail account working with no issues on my iPad & iPhone & suddenly on both devices my mail is not updating! My mail account is downloading with no problem when I use the laptop so the issue is not with my email setup!
All settings seem to be ok & have turned off and on etc with no success, can anyone help please?

Have you tried deleting and re-adding the account? I don't have high hopes for this, since it is not working on both iOS devices; but it is worth a try.

On your laptop, are you using an email client (like Outlook), or web mail (browser)? Web mail uses different services than email clients, so it doesn't always reflect whether those services are down.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with Virgin, so I can't offer more detailed help. Hopefully someone else is and can.

Went online using webmail on the laptop & deleted old emails & reset account on iPad & it seems to have done the trick for the moment. Wondered if I'd exceeded a mail limit? Just relieved it seems ok but appreciate your help, and you.
