I've noticed that several apps' names end with HD. "Office2 HD" for example.
What does the HD mean? [IMG]

    High Definition?
    Hot Deal?
    Heavy Duty?
    Highly Developed?
    Heavenly Design?
    or what [IMG]

I believe the HD refers to High Definition which makes it compatible with retina screen iDevices...

    That confirms my assumption.

HD normally refers to iPad only apps, these work on both retina and non retina iPads.

That was my second assumption ...
(I use a cell-phone to call only, never to receive calls. No stress, that way ... :p )

The iPad3 (the third generation) has a retina screen, as does the iPad4 (and so, probably all future ones, now). While the iPad2 was crisper than the original iPad1, it still isn't retina.

Meanwhile, the Mini is not a retina device ... yet.

    Hope this clarifies.
