Hello,
Mostly iPad1 iOS 5 user, iPad2 sometimes (video & camera). IPhone 3G jb to use different wireless carrier. Unfamiliar w/ forums use in general & have to play w/ buttons/symbols to navigate. Found this forum in Google search to find out how to create email attachments, i.e. Docs, photos, audio files.

Don't know if all I want to do w/ email is expecting too much, but very pleased with what iPad does - check / sending email, ibooks, Kindle use from Amazon, arcade & board games. Try not to login to anything in public Wi-Fi. Like being able to automatically access Internet & email w/o booting. (Not Type A  - simply a time-managing family member & business person.)

Right now I'd like to know how to send email attachments. I know this question has come up many times, I just don't know how to find it in this forum.

Thank you in advance for assistance.

Hi there and welcome.

Regarding attachments I find the easiest way is to use the Dropbox App, you can attach from the app or if you have a number of attachments you can email links for the recipient to download at their leisure. This is useful in the age of mobile Internet as the recipient can choose to download on the current connection (say 3G) or wait until they are on a broadband connection. Hope this helps you.

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend.......and please don't forget to read the rules http://www.ipadforums.net/forum-rules-help-info/2119-forum-rules-everybody-please-read.html

These are the hacking section rules for all you jail breakers (and would be jail breakers) http://www.ipadforums.net/ipad-hacking/2892-hacking-section-rules-please-read.html

We also have an app for this forum. A link to download the app is: Discussion Forum for iPad Users for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store

If you have other Apple products or are interested in other Apple kit then why not join our sister forum too at http://www.appleforums.net/

Finally, if you still haven't had enough, how about a video explaining about our other forums (note:you may want to play this at half speed but hey, why shouldn't Phil be excited about our forums!)

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.
