Good morning! I wanted to thank you for the posting re: how to get the gray screen to work again. Started last night and I DID try to turn it off & on, but didn't wait long enough, when I found the directions this a.m., tried again and success! So, now I can amuse myself again.

I'm not really into all the computer stuff, I got the ipad for portable access to the web and was VERY disappointed to learn that my ability to view videos that require flash is haphazard at best. Iphone does not have the same problem, who would have thought. The video thing was one of the main reasons I GOT the iPad. I need to view choreography videos from a private facebook group on a regular basis. I've browsed enough to know there is a commercial issue between Adobe & Apple, but that doesn't help the problem. I will browse the forums, maybe there's something out there. I did pay to download Skyfire, but that doesn't help at all...

Anyway I now have a copy of the help manual bookmarked (didn't know how to do that either until 5:30 a.m.) and am hoping I don't "need" your site much in the future. I will say though my interest is piqued so I might actually come back to browse around. After 6 months, I have about 18 apps loaded (to give you an idea of how I use this thing). Don't have the phone service, just the wifi.

Thanks again for a helpful site!

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.
