Greetings and Salutations

I am completely new to Apple products My family gave me an iPad2 for my birthday last week and a couple of days ago left my Blackberry for a new (soon to be old?) iPhone4.

Not completely new to computers - built my 1st micro in 1976 - but now when I have a question / issue I just dial 1-800-call-the-kids

Looking forward to learning as much I can from the vast knowledge base here.

Welcome to the Forum. You will find there is an enormous amount of knowledge here and friendly people only too willing to help. I found doing searches answered a lot of my queries. If you get stuck, just ask. Enjoy!!

I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!
