If you are not aware, Google Helpouts is a new service that uses the Google Hangouts utility to put users with questions in touch with experts. Thus, you will be able to get help from specialists on such categories as Computers & Electronics, Education & Careers, Fashion, Fitness and Music, and many more. To be able to use the service, you will need to sign in with your Google account. After having initially released the Helpout apps for Android users only, Google has now rolled them out to Android users, as well.

Helpouts connects you to expert help over live video. This app gives you access to all of the FREE Helpouts available on the platform. Download the app today to get help across a wide range of topics—anytime, anywhere.

At the moment, most of the Helpouts sessions are free as a promotion for the initial release, but experts can set their own fee for the services they provide. However, at the moment, it seems that only free sessions are available for iOS users. You can also rate the experts that you have dealt with so that others could know whether they are reliable or not. Also, there’s a handy tool that allows you to schedule your sessions in agreement with the expert from the other end. Would you be interested in using such a service or your prefer to have direct, physical contact?
