    Hi,
I'm trying to use Google Docs to edit some documents on my iPad but I can only view the files, I can't find a way to edit them. I've seen articles online that show an <edit> button in the top right corner, but my screen doesn't show this.

Does anyone have Google Docs working on their iPad? If yes, can you please share the secret to getting this to work?

    Best,

    Dan

I found the problem. Google docs won't allow you to edit docs created with Microsoft word. First you have to export the Microsoft Word document into google docs format. Then you can use google docs, however it's a little painful. Not sure if it's worth it.
