does anybody recommend this wlan harddisk ( except seagate )
I don't think it's usable on the iPad - maybe other Members will have some definitive information on this.
It's actually made for the iPad http://www.seagate.com/www/en-gb/pr...atellite-_-e&gclid=CPbZxcHD26sCFQULfAodfx8FSA
Tim screws up again....
I think it's the only thing that I have actually managed to remember all year!
AGAIN? Tim! When have you ever been wrong? I did actually think though, that one of you two would pop along and tell this guy he was on a different planet. I had no clue what he was asking! Good for him
Unfortunately I'm wrong all the time - just ask my wife.......
This is a product I have been interested in, though I can't share any experience using it.
It was apparently designed to connect with the iPad (or, I presume, other portable devices) via your wireless network.
I have seen another thread (I think it was on this forum, but maybe not) where the original poster was having problems. Don“t remember the details, but a search here or on Google should turn up the info you are looking for.
If you dig it up, how about posting your findings?
I've seen it mentioned on many threads, including this one:
Ads for the Go Flex appear on this forum, too. I looked into it because it sounded promising, but the reviews I've seen on Amazon and in IPF posts are mixed. I got the impression that it has a PITA interface, so I decided against it.
I have use it a lot both with iPad 1 and 2. It's so easy my grands use the one I sent my son for his BD. Some people don't like the program that comes with it to transfer your files, but I have no gripes. It also works with the iPhones.
