Crescent Moon Games’ physics-based 3D ball-roller is currently sitting pretty at the top of the Paid iPad Apps chart in the UK and US, and has been getting some great reviews both in the press and in the App Store. Currently available for a limited time for just $0.99/£0.59, the game features stylish worlds and 27 challenging levels. The Brass Menagerie is a steampunk-themed world, the Rivers of Magma sees you rolling your ball around the inside of a volcano, and the Cavern of Omens is a maze of pathways, lakes, waterfalls and traps. It’s definitely much more than just a rolling ball game. As you roll around the levels, you get to collect achievements and other bonuses by directing the ball either with a swipe of the finger or by tilting your iPad. You can challenge yourself to beat your own high scores or put your best scores up against Gears players worldwide via GameCenter.
