Gamecenter friends not showing up/disappearing ingame

I dont know whats wrong. Ive tried to power cycle and turn off and on my iphone but my friends arent showing up in dragonvale. Ive added 8 people, 7 of which no longer or never have shown up in game on my friends list. They still appear on my gamecenter friends list.
