Know there are apps for file transfer (Dropbox, etc) which are great programs and I use them. But I work in a corporate environment where we have our own FTP site setup. Using a our server to host. I tried opening our FTP site view a direct link and typing in the FTP URL, but all I get is a permission popup. Not the typically login/password screen that you receive when you are on your desktop.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

FTPClientPro will give you a standard ftp program. I use it to access my website root directories. The program only costs $1.99 USD.
