I want to watch TV on my Ipad ~ never thought I would say that ~ I Googled it and this came up.

Sorry Guys! Me thinks this is for iPhone. Picture quality is poor and too small, and so not what I was looking for...

surely you would need a receiver similar to those in TV set top boxes built into the Ipad, other wise you are just streaming it from online video sites like youtube and bbc iplayer
    ?

Yes, which is why the free and cheap streaming apps are so mediocre, because their station lineups are.

Yeah, if you live outside the US like me, there are lots of options. If it's good, you'll see it in the top 100 apps on your country's app store.

It Switzerland, it looks like this and it's really quite good.

You could just use a proxy and then you would be able to use it. Obviously thats only if you wanted to watch UK TV :)

I'm a proud American and I'm going to tell you one thing: The US copyright holders are the biggest bunch of pedantic backwards-thinking control freaks on the planet. I hope they are out of business in ten years because they can't update their 50 year old business model to be up to the times.

If you have to make laws to enforce your business model: MAKE A NEW BUSINESS MODEL!!!

The rest of the world is watching TV with advertisements, or paying a fair price without advertisements. Who cares if it on a computer, TV, iPad or friggin phone? You WILL GET PAID.

Until then, please complain about why people steal Lost on the Internet. I'm crying myself to sleep for you.
