    Hey people,

I have set up my own website recently, but it is using a free subdomain.

Is there anywhere I can get a top level domain (like .com) for free with DNS control?

I know there are some services like dot.tk (co.cc and cz.cc have been banned from google)

Very unlikely. It really isn't that expensive to get a domain name. $20-$40 bucks for up to two years is typical.

    Free domain budget

    Problem.

I can't spend any money on the domain name whatsoever.

Then you're stuck with the sub domain. Asking someone to give you a top level domain for free is about the same as asking to have an apartment for free. Someone has to pay, and they aren't going to do it for no reason at all.
