Do you remember Jacques Paganel from the famous Jules Verne`s book “In Search of the Castaways The way he answered the question "How does monsieur know Patagonia, Australia, New Zealand so well?"
“Of course! I have been here many times, traveling while sitting in a chair …â€, - answered the great scientist.

It is not surprising. Jacques Paganel Elias-Francois-Marie - a geographer, the secretary of Paris Geographical Society, the corresponding member of the Geographical Societies of Berlin, Bombay, Darmstadt, Leipzig, London, St. Petersburg, Vienna and New York, an honorary member of the East Indian Royal Institute of geography and ethnography, a man widely known and having a well-deserved reputation, could immediately answer any question on geography.
