It may seem like Foursquare is a thing of the past, as social network giants like Facebook have added a "check in" feature awhile back. But Foursquare seems to keep on pushing, recently by releasing its long-awaited iPad application.
Previously only available on iPhone and iPod Touch, Foursquare's iPad application takes full advantage of the extra real estate. The app's home screen shows a new section, showing all of the best picks for locations in your area, this includes shops, restaurants, spas, etc. The iPad app also allows users to see suggested travel destination on your planned trip, browsing by city and personalized just for you.
