Anyone who is primarily concerned with battery life wouldn't jail break their iPad. Mike seems to be selectively concerned about battery life. :D

I find Steve Jobs Puritan views of porn really stupid. I am finding plenty of HTML 5 porn sites out there. grow up Steve...porn will always be on the net.

Yeah, i have flash installed on my ipad now to test out the effect it has on battery drain first hand.

LOL and lets just say this flash plugin needs a lot more baking in the oven before its ready to come out.

out of all of the flash pages i have visited only one of them had half a page with flash sort of working.

So you are testing an unreleased version of flash which is not finished being ported to check on battery life? Sounds like a good idea.

OK, so I get about 1% battery loss per hour after Jailbreaking with just leaving the ipad idle.

With "Frash" installed and leaving my ipad idle, im seeing about 3.6% battery loss per hour.

Thats still about 27 hours of idle time, but it does drain the battery faster and full use of the device will make it worse.

Not sure what you have installed, but if I don't use my iPad for 10 hours it doesn't lose a single percentage. If I charge it at night and wake up go to work and only use it a couple times in the day at night it will still be 100%...not sure why you are getting idle battery loss.

My jailbroken iPad also does not lose a single percent of battery life when sleeping. I left it sleeping last night off the charger and it remained at 48% for 8 hours.

Flash is over. I think it would have ended anyway, but the iPad sales have speeded its demise. Good riddance to buggy slowdowns that end in crashes.

Why jailbreak just to run obsolete code?

Why jailbreak just to run obsolete code?

Why approve buggy apps for the app store just because there written on your platform? How about producing some hardware that isnt so delicate?

Poor reception..."dont hold it that way"

Poor battery life..."dont turn it on"..mine stays at 100% when I do this.Awesome!

I would gladly have 20% of the current battery life to have a flash browser plugin. Dont want it?dont use it.Just like jailbreaking.

Jobbs is still an egomaniac.

How can any of you argue against having the option install flash? If you don't want it, don't use it. Seriously apple consumers scare me sometimes with how loyal they are to any decision Steve Jobs makes.
