Films and TV programmes have disappeared.

Hi, I live in Cornwall, England and have had my iPad2 since they were first released in this country. I synced as usual recently, but all of the films and tv shows I had have "disappeared". I believe they are still on the iPad as the
memory usage shows there is only 7gb free, and video is taking up 14gb.

How can I get to my films?
