Coca-cola was initially developed by pharmacists to help cure headache.
It was John Pemberton, who had made Coca-Cola for the first time, back in 1886, as a remedy to headache and also problems like indigestion and nausea.

To add some Coca-Cola facts, one of the ingredients used for making Coca-Cola's, named Coca are also used to make cocaine. The original Coca-Cola originally had ACTUAL cocaine, this getting the name Coca-Cola.

Excess cocaine often resulted in negative effect, therefore, later, the coca leaf extract was incorporated, instead of cocaine or caffeine.

There is a prison in Brazil that allows inmates to reduce their jail terms by pedalling stationary bicycles for generating electricity.

They get one day off their sentence for every three 8-hour shift on the bike.

It is illegal to run out of fuel in autobahn because it is viewed as an avoidable circumstance.

Wow, I didn't know that so many German words are used in English.

Is it illegal in general, or in a certain country? I'm not aware that this is not legal on highways in Austria.

The Hudson Bay area is near the center of a major gravity anomaly - there's less gravity than everywhere else on Earth.

It is applicable for Germany. It is a road designed for driving as fast as you can. There are speed cameras, though only to spot the ones not driving fast enough. Actually, there is no law against running out of fuel, but stopping unnecessarily on a superfast highway is a crime, and that includes running out of fuel!

The autobahn is now the fourth largest singular superhighway system after US, China and Spain.

That's what confused me. Our highways are also called autobahn, but we have a speed limit. And we have speed cameras, but to see who's too fast. :) Btw, there are speed limits in Germany as well, in some areas.
Thanks! :)

A craftsman from Iowa created a model of Hogwarts out of matchsticks. It took him 3000 hours to build it, and he used 602.000 matchsticks and 24 gallons of glue.

A baboon called Jack was working as signalman in Uitenhage, South Africa, more than 100 years ago. He never made a mistake, and was working for the railroad, helping his owner who had lost both feet, until he died.

The number "five" is important to the Pentagon in many ways. It has 5 sides, it also has 5 stories, the courtyard also encompasses an area of five acres. You can get to anywhere within the building in 15 minutes.
