Facetime Cam Issue?

Using my front facing camera; I had a nice image; well lit and clear; closed the camera;switched to Facetime; (a moment later in the same well lit spot) dialed my friend; but the FaceTime camera image was much darker and fuzzier; I had presumed it was also using the same front facing camera; so what gives? Had a good WIFI connection; I don't get it......

The camera you are using is the one facing you and the lighting is probably not very good at your location. Go to a window or outside and note the difference.

Cameras are ALL about LIGHT, the more and the more natural, the better.

Meant to say: switched to Facetime; (a moment later in the same well lit spot)

same spot ; same lighting; but image lost quality...:confused:
