Facebook notifications problems

Hi!
I have an issue with my Facebook notifications.
The icon shows that I have 3 new message, but when i tap on it, it tells me that i have no notifications.

Someone know why?

I've had this problem before. First of all make sure you're connected to the Internet. Then go into the Facebook app. Open up the messages tab and pull it down. That should refresh the messages part of fb and show you the messages that weren't originally showing up. Hope this works.
