My brother wanted to read The Sorcerer's Stone (what we call it in the US) but he was too young. So I read it to him. Both of us each own all 7 books in hardcover. I'm not sure he has re-read them, but I have twice through (some books 3x, I think).

Me no like Twilight because it is silly. I do love vampires, but not sissy and sensitive ones. Think 'Dark Shadows' with Barnibus Collins played by Johnithan Frid. This is the original DS, not the worthless remake.

Although, if they remade DS with Ozzie Osborne playing Frid's part, I'm sold.

SORRY GANG. I posted the image and I crashed IE. Looked for the post and it was not there. So I posted again and apparently, my post was doubled. Deleted both, Opera closed, visited the thread and no post. Posted it a third time, and I got three posts.

Bob is once again sorry. I see everything is fine, enjoy the image.

Santa? Please bring me an IPF handbook so I can learn to post like the grown-ups.

And a puppy would be nice.

It's okay Bob, I thought it was another of your clever and zany ways of making a point. Poor child, he must be scarred for life!

LOL . . . trust me on this: I am scarred for life but not from the IPF, I'll tell you what. Someone said I sounded like Hank Hill. At least it is not Boomhauer (SP?). Anyway, thats about it.

Cigar smoke triggers thoughts of christmas, in me

As a kid my Dad (RIP) used to always smoke a castella cigar on Xmas Eve, and another Xmas night.

Then we go by train to watch Millwall who always seemed to play at 'home' at the Old Den on Boxing Day. His brother would also be there, where they would smoke Tom Thumbs cigars nothing shortbof a ritual.

I used to enjoy the hilarious but good natured banter shouted from the terraces, more than the football tbh.

No hooligans fighting back then, always seemed one guy could make himself heard clear as a bell all over the stadium, even cracked up the referee with his comments, great times.

He would not smoke cigars at any other time, not even on his birthday.
