Is there a way to transfer a "group" email list from my outlook to the iPad? If not is there a way to create a group email list on the iPad?

I don't believe there is a way to transfer groups to the iPad from Outlook.

However, a lot of people, myself included, have had a lot of success with an app called MailShot. It allows you to easily create groups in your Contacts list and easily access them from the Mail app. See if that'll do ya (it's available in the App Store).

+1 for MailShot - it's a great program, it's the answer to your prayers. You can create groups of unlimited size that are accessible directly from within the iPad's native Mail app. A great program.
