email won't stay up on screen

Just recently when I try to access my email on the iPad the email account will open, I can select an email and then the screen reverts to the main menu on iPad. I can't view any of my email accounts. I can see that my emails are being received but I can't access.

Anyone seen this behavior before??

Saw it when i was running the beta os, but not since, unless I try to delete this old draft letter.

Have narrowed down problem

I have three email accounts. I found if I turn off the hotmail account the screen will stay up and I can access the other two.
