email freezing up

With ios8, my email freezes up constantly, especially when cleaning our spam folder. It is necessary to reboot to unfreeze email.
HELP!

If it is an IMAP or Exchange account, try deleting the account and re-adding it.

You can do the same with a POP3 account, but be aware that you might end up with a lot of old mail downloading again as unread. Depends on whether you've been using the download and delete options or the download and leave on server option.
