BGR reports today that EA games is holding another one of its very frequent sales this weekend, cutting the prices of some of its best-loved games in the App Store by up to 80%. EA is calling this weekend’s price-cutting fiesta of fun a “Back to School Sale,†which seems a bit early, as the holidays are nowhere near over yet, but they can call it whatever they like if it means we’ll be able to get our hands on such gems as Flight Control HD, SimCity Deluxe, and NBA Jam for iPad, and TETRIS, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Risk and Scrabble for iPhone and iPod touch, and all for mere pennies. Click the link at the bottom of the post for links to all nine iPhone/iPod touch games and 16 iPad games. The sale is not confined to iPhone and iPad users in the US, so iOS gamers all over the world will be able to benefit from the discounts.
