In the Maps app?

For the red ones you get with a search tap on the search box at the top right, then tap the X to empty it.

For any you add yourself, tap-hold on the pin until the you get a speech box, tap on the blue and white info icon, and choose remove pin.

Hey, cool. I just discovered that if you tap on the orange and white person icon instead it takes you to Google Street View.

Yes, it is kind of sad that the actual Google Earth app doesn't have street view.

I use streetview all the time to check locations, parking and access etc..
Works so well with the iPad.

The Maps app is one of the most impressive things on the iPad. People just gape when you demo street view to them. The traffic info you can select on the Maps app is also very good and accurate - less clunky than other traffic apps.

However, I'm noticing a limit on the number of bookmarked locations it will store. I can't enter more than 8. Anyone else notice this, and is there a workaround?

I'm following up a query on another thread. Is it possible to see street view in a "travelling along" mode? I was never aware of such a feature and guess that it may be run as a Flash movie.

Flash won't work on iPad?

I saw the other thread too and wasn't quite sure what the OP meant. To me 'travelling along' is just what you get in Street View. Did they mean that they want to be able to see Street View as they're actually travelling along the same street - that would seem kind of pointless - I mean, just look out of the window...

Or did the OP not know how to move forwards in Street View so that you could 'move along' the street that you're viewing?

Yes, Tim I think that's what the OP is looking for. I think navigating by tapping the arrow heads on a street name "ribbon" works well and gives you good control for zooming and panning etc.

Cheers
