Dragon Dictation

Hi,
I am in New Zealand and am a fairly new owner of an iPad2. I have been trying to find the app called Dragon Dicatation which comes highly recommended in a number of publications. However, it simply does not seem to exist as far as I am concerned. Have tried Apps Centre and Apps Tracker to no avail. Is it available in New Zealand, if it is not why?? Can anyone help?

It's not available for New Zealand. Nuance, the company behind the Dragon Dictate software & apps, closed their servers for this part of the world. Using the app requires network connection because the translation is done on their servers. I called them after the Android Nuance app stopped working & they told me that they had closed their Australia-New Zealand servers and don't service customers from this region on any of their other servers. So, we are out of luck.

Hi to both of you and welcome to the Forum!

I have Dragon Dictation and I've just been playing with it. It's not 100% accurate but still good enough to understand what is being said. I'm in Brisbane, Australia. So from what you say Elpie, is it meant to work for me? I'm just thinking if you 2 really want it, you could buy it from the Australian store as its still available here.
