Downloading Avatars

Would someone please tell me how to insert avatars from other websites for use in this forum? Thank

The easiest way is to visit the forum from a computer. Go to the User CP tab at the top. On the left you'll see an option to Edit Avatar. You can either choose a file on the computer, or point to a picture on the internet using a URL.

Either way, pay attention to the file size limitations.

The User CP tab has been Changed to the Settings link since I posted this advice. Ernie is a part of iFrogs signature, which can be found in the same area. Inserting an animated gif (or any picture) requires storing it somewhere and using a link in the signature.

Be sure to go over the rules for signatures before putting on your creativity hat.
