Download problems

Any answers to why when I try to download 4.2 why my stay in backup mode. It has been over an hour.

I'm stuck even earlier, on downloading iTunes 10.1.

When everyone is installing, does it get through about 95% of the install of the new software and then stops moving any further. Been this way for about fifteen minutes, almost complete and then doesn't move anymore.

Oh, this is using a MacBook Pro, Snow Leopard, and iPad is a wifi 64gb.

Success, iPad update complete.
Took about an hour. Waited patiently.
I love he folders, but I already miss the orientation lock switch.

It's going to take a little getting used to, but I think I'm going to like the way the new orientation lock switch is set up.

There is no orientation switch now.
The switch has become a mute switch.

Well I restarted the install at 8:00 Am and 12 hours later my backup is 50% done. Hopefully it will be done by the time I wake up tomorrow. It's killing me not being able to use it!
