Not sure if you're allowed to install programs on your work laptop but after pic has been transferred to laptop give either iphone PC suite

or disk aid a try,and see if that solves your problem.

I think disk aid might be your best option though....

so when i plug the ipad into the PC via usb, the DCIM folder mounts like a usb automagically... didnt think it would do that, so all i have to do is transfer it there
