Email on my PC is POP.

Set up my IPAD as POP and got no emails until changed and set it up as IMAP.

It worked a little bit of time but emails are vanishing. The emails are not deleted form the PC and still remain.

Kept email setting on the ipad is 75.

Do I need to do anything in iTunes???

I'm not a technical person so make it simple if you could..

Thanks

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Who are your service providers? What email settings do you have (no account names or passwords, of course!).

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.

Mixing POP and IMAP can be confusing. If you've got a choice set the computer up as IMAP as well. From that point on you just need to know that anything you do (with the exception of local folders) will happen on the server, and therefor happen the same on each device. It might take a bit for updates though. When I open Mail in the iPad it can take several seconds to sort things out.

My Email is through gforcecable owned by atlantic broadband and is a POP server. I don't think this is going to change any time soon.

Most all service providers offer both POP and IMAP. It might be worth checking. Have a look here for a good explanation of the differences....

Then how did you set up your iPad as IMAP? That should not have worked, even for a little while.
