Did iOS 4.2.1 kill USB keyboard support?

I was using a USB keyboard with the camera connection kit before updating to iOS 4.2.1 on my iPad. I just plugged in the keyboard after updating a few days ago and now the keyboard isn't working.

Did the update kill this?

Nevermind. I rebooted the iPad and the USB keyboard is working again. Whew!

I'm surprised it works. They removed USB stick access in 4.2.1.
