Deleting junk email

How does one delete the no message no sender emails dated 1969?

The only way I've found to delete them (just did it minutes ago) is to: swipe left to right on the message in the inbox. A red "Delete" button will appear. Tap the delete button and your no sender/no content message will be gone. It works.
