deleteing images from photo stream

hi,I hope someone can help me with this little problem.when I delete or reset photo stream it clears all the images but when I save a new image all the deleted one show up again in photo steam.i must be doing something wrong when I clear the images but I can not work out what any help will be greatly received thanks, old lad.

Welcome to iPF from another Brit

I haven't experienced the problem which you are having with photo stream.

My immediate thought was " Do you use iCloud to share photos between devices?" If so, it could be that you need to clear out your cloud files. This is just a thought. I don't use iCloud, so I expect my supposition is wrong.
