Default Browser Choice Update?

Any updates on ability to choose the default Browser without jailbreaking iPad 2?

A true pain in the tush with email links and any outside links for that matter if you're using/like another Browser. Mine is the Mercury Browser.

The default browser is still Safari, and it's not possible to change this.
