Cydia keeps CRASHING!

This is what happened: First, when I jailbreaked my device (ipad 2 ios 6.0.1) using evasion, when I install a repo, it says "run apt-get update........". After hours of searching I knew how to solve it, but it didn't work. Then I ran the code "apt-get remove cydia" and "apt-get install cydia) to reinstall cydia. But after rebooting my device, when I click on the cydia icon, IT CRASHES! Do I need to make a full restore and jailbreak it again?

It sounds as if the command you are trying to use doesn't work on iOS 6 or the iPad (or both).

Unfortunately, from what you describe, yes, you are going to have to restore to a "fresh" iOS 6.1 and then re-jail break. Sorry.

Thanks. Now I have to install IOS 6.1! *screams because of slow internet*
Edit: When I was downloading the ios, I used the evasi0n tool and it worked again. Then I went to mobile terminal and ran the command (apt-get update) twice then I can go to cydia again! Unfortunately though I keep getting an error, http/1.1 502 bad request, Is it normal due to the spike of users using cydia because of the release of the evasi0n tool?
