How would I copy my contacts from my Droid X into my Ipad?

Well, if you've set up your Droid X the standard way then your contacts are probably already synced with Google. Make sure that it true, if you don't know for sure. If it is then all you have to do is add your Google account to the iPad.

You'll have to set it up a bit differently than the default GMail account setup. Instead go here to see how to set it up as an Exchange account. You'll get to sync contacts and multiple calendars this way.

Be sure to follow the last link. It will tell you how to set multiple calendars to sync. Hold in mind when you visit mobile.google.com/sync it has to be done from the iPad.
