Hi and welcome to the Forum!

So you are not getting the paste option? Where are you tring to paste this, what app are you using?
Might be an idea to close the app completely and then relaunch it. From the home screen do the four finger swipe up or double press the home button to reveal your multi task bar. These are all the apps that you have opened at one time. Long press the app until it jiggles and a red minus sign will appear above it. Press the minus sign, this will close the app, not delete it, now press the home button to return to your screen. It's also a good idea to close all these apps, as it helps the iPad run smoothly,
Let us know if this fixes it.

Can you manually type in the text box on Monster that you are trying to copy to?

If yes, make sure you have an active cursor in that box before trying to tap and hold to get the paste option.

No just the empty box, can't type it in or paste it.

Then whatever Monster is using to drive the text box is not iPad compatible, and you won't be able to paste into it.

I don't use Monster, but look around in your user settings or preferences (if there are any) and see if you can choose a different text editor. Choose Basic or HTML if possible. The advanced editors are sometimes driven by plugins/extentions not available for the iPad.

If Monster will take a file upload instead, you might give iCab Mobile a try. You have to use Open In to copy the file to iCab Mobile, but once it is there you may be able to use the normal Choose File and Upload File buttons on a website. Some work. Some don't.

Don't know what I did, but your suggestion of trying to write something in the box worked. It gave me the paste option and voila. Thanks

You're welcome. Glad it worked, by whatever stroke of luck.
