Contents of iPad not recognised

I tried synching my jb iPad to iTunes and it says can not recognise,the only option it gives me is to restore.

If I restore I lose my jb,any ideas ?

A jb iPad should still sync with iTunes.

You may have installed a Cydia app which somehow prevents this. Has this iTunes error only occurred recently? If so, which are the latest Cydia apps you have installed?

Try rebooting the iPad and also connect it to your PC through a different USB port. It should certainly recognise it. I can't think of any app that would prevent it, except maybe PwnTunes???
