i have a problem where i cant get my video files from my gopro to my ipad. first problem my ipad does not accept my gopro through the usb camera attachment. second problem is the ipad does not want to read the micro sdxc card i heard it could be due to file format on the sd card but i dont know.
i am new to the apple family so i apologize for my ignorance. but any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Yes! Same for me. I owned a GoPro 2 using a SD card. Used the iPad SD card reader adapter to get the footage onto the iPad2 - iMovie worked a treat for editing. However now, I replaced my GoPro 2 for a GoPro 3 Silver which uses a micro SD card, and now the iPad will not accept the footage at all. Anyone have a reason for this? Any fixes? As far as I know,I'm capturing the footage at the same settings, it seems to me the card is the only difference. Maybe it the format of the new micro SD card? Thanks all.

I did see in an earlier thread that the newer GoPros use card formatting that an iPad/CCK does not recognize. The workaround would be to first move the files to a PC/Mac then import to iPad from there.

Thanks all. Copied MPeg-4 files to PC then transfered them to iPad2 in my pictures folder. Was able to pick up the footage in iMovie and works perfectly fine. Appreciated.
