connect ipad to wifi and then get access to servers

At work we have a wifi system which you can access servers with films/pics etc.
Can I access these servers with my ipad to look at films pics etc.?

I imagine as long as you have the password to access the system you can use your IPad to view anything you could do with a computer.

You may need an app that allows you to connect to your work network via a desktop already connected to the network or VPN access to your work network.

FTP Client Pro (99 cents) works like any other FTP client with a built in viewer, but the entire file must be downloaded before viewing. There may be other solutions that allow browsing to locate media files and streaming without downloading first.
