i have an ipad previously used by someone else. I have updated the App Store user settings to my own but everytime I try to do anything I am prompted to enter the password of the previous user's itune account. Only option on password promt or Ok or Cancel. (I thought Apple knew user interface - where is the option to change the user ID?) Any ideas how I can enter MY itunes accounts and get rid of this annoying prompt?

On your iPad, go into Settings | Store and sign out --

Once you do that, you can either create a totally new account or sign in with your own account --

If you have any of the previous users apps you'll need that account for updates..easiest way to clear an iPad for new users is to do a restore and choose the new user option.
